Founded in 1827, Lindenward University is a vibrant four-year liberal arts college committed to being a leader in higher education. Nestled in beautiful Linden Woods, the 500-acre, historic campus is located in the heart of St. Charles, Missouri, a city of 62,000 people just west of St. Louis.

Lindenward University offers more than 120 undergraduate and graduate programs, and nearly 15,000 students have passed through the Core Values Program.

The Lindenward University School of Business offers students a strong professional curriculum that emphasizes the knowledge, skills, and techniques to design and maintain effective organizational groups. Offers core professional courses in all majors (e.g., accounting, finance, economics, international business, marketing). There are also less common courses, such as entrepreneurship, retail management, or personal finance. Since 1918, Lindenward University has been accredited by the Higher Education Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Lindenward University is a member of the Higher Education Accreditation Council (CHEA).

The Margaret Leggat Butler Library was constructed in 1930 and is located in the historic eastern region of campus. In addition to 150,000 books and periodicals, classroom, research, and quiet study spaces, the library also houses a coffee shop and a writing center. The library is a member of the MOBIUS Consortium, a statewide system that links Lindenwood’s library to libraries at other higher learning institutions across Missouri.
